Megan is compassionate, caring, and an extremely gifted trainer.  She is intelligent and very knowledgeable about what she does.Blah, blah, blah.  Yes, she is all of these things, don't get me wrong.She is all of these things and much more.

All trainers should be compassionate, caring and knowledgeable in their craft.  Anyone can walk you through circuit training, give you umpteen dumbbell exercises to do on different days, and count your reps, but Megan possesses that "something else".

That "something else" is the ability to reach a person, to motivate, and ultimately teach them.   She not only works with a person for the time being, she works with them to teach them a better way of life.  She has an uncanny ability to really read a person, know their strengths and weaknesses, build on the foremost and minimize the latter.  She understands them when they are working with her and understands them outside the training facility to help them overcome obstacles that may be in the way of their goals.

In the two years that I have known and worked with Megan, I have seen this to be the case in many of her clients.  Especially me, I had no idea that when I signed up for my first initial sessions with Megan that it would change the way I lived my life.  "Working out", "training", "exercising", whatever it is that you want to call it, is now a normal and essential part of my life, like brushing my teeth and breathing air.   Eating foods that are better for me, not a "diet", but better choices of what I put into my body has spread through my house, down to my husband and children.  I have gained self-confidence that was never there and a determination that "I can do" whatever it is I put my mind to - in and out of the gym.

Megan helped me achieve all of this.  She was there through it all, pushing me to do it, to do more and to succeed.  Megan has always been able to motivate me when I wanted to stop, to dog it or to give up.  She was there for me through tough times in my personal life and kept me going towards my goals.  I could have never come this far in my training and life if it weren't for Megan's support, encouragement and inspiration.  I will always be grateful to her for teaching me so much about myself for myself.  It has been an experience like no other and I wouldn't replace it for anything.

I look forward to more times with her, and to building bigger shoulder muscles than she ever had! (wink, wink)

I have been working out with Megan for approximately 8 weeks.  I have always loved to exercise, but now that I have reached the 40's, it is much more difficult to look and feel the way I would like to.  Signing up to do a g-fit session with Megan was the best gift I could have given myself.  Megan is a first class, top-notch educator when it comes to weight training.  She is full of encouragement, praise, inspiration, and knowledge of health and fitness.  Megan is focused only on the individual she is training....striving for them to get the best results possible.  For the hour session I am with her, we are constantly working out, focusing on form, and I am encouraged to go further than I think I am capable of doing.  We have discussed diet in great detail.  Megan is an extremely knowledgeable person when discussing diet.  After looking at her, seeing what amazing shape she is in, I believe in her.  After just a few weeks of eating the way she suggests, I feel the best I have felt in years.  I look forward to my sessions with Megan.  I want to listen to her and be in the best possible shape I can be.  I know, with her help, I can achieve my goal.

If you're wondering if Megan is the right trainer for you, really now, just look at her.  She has the body type all us ladies should aspire to reach- not thin and emaciated but slim, fit, and strong.  Just seeing her it's obvious she knows how to get and keep a body in shape and healthy.

If the exterior packaging isn't enough, try one training session or group fitness class with her and trust me, you'll be hooked. This is where her true, interior talents come out. I am a member of her group cardio kickboxing class which I attend faithfully every week.  Each Tuesday I truly look forward to this jam packed, one hour, head to toe, full muscle and cardio workout so much so that only cross country travel has kept me from attending.  Quite frankly, I'm addicted.  She has a crazy high energy level that is not intimidating at all, but instead, completely contagious.  There's times you walk into class feeling wrecked and tired from the day, thinking you might not make it to the end.  Somehow she manages to pull the best out of you and you walk away feeling like a new person.

Although I have not personally taken individual training sessions with Megan, I have witnessed many just being around the gym.  She has a faithful and large following of clients- men and women, young and old, life long athletes and those new to fitness.  Be it one-on-one training or small group sessions, I have seen many people get the workout of there life, smiling and laughing through the ‘pain'- and I mean pain in the best possible way.  Really, what's better than feeling that burn but having fun while you're doing it?  Not only do her clients look like they enjoy their sessions, but I have witnessed many dramatic results.

In addition to the high energy and laughs, Megan is also a kind person who just wants to help people be healthy.  I recall one day at the gym she overheard me discussing that a favorite fitness class I attended was being cancelled and not replaced on the schedule.  I had never taken any other class type and was intimidated jumping into a new one with people who had been doing it for years.  She truly sympathized with my situation and offered to spend time with me ‘off the clock' to bring me up to speed on the other class formats and steps.  At this time I didn't really know Megan other than saying hello once or twice in passing.  I was so appreciative of the offer and struck by the kindness shown to a virtual stranger.  Since that time I have gotten to know her better and there is no pretense with Megan.  What you see is what you get- an incredibly fit and energetic trainer, who will be your biggest cheerleader, get you in the best shape of your life, and make you laugh and smile along the way.

I have been training with Megan over the last few months and have been extremely satisfied with the entire experience and results. I really enjoy the diversity in Meg's workouts. Most trainers have you doing the same exercises over and over again. However, Meg uses a variety of exercises that keep the workouts far more enjoyable than with other trainers. Her up beat and inspirational attitude really push you through the workouts. My name is Sharon Nista and I am writing to discuss my time and training with Megan Reynolds. First let me give you a little background about myself. I am a 53 year old woman who has not been to the gym (at least on a regular basis) in several years. I had not been feeling well for several months and had gained about 25 pounds over the past year. My weight was fluctuating between 147 - 150 and I am 5'4” tall.

About seven weeks ago I signed up for a membership at Global Fitness in Tyngsboro and made an appointment for my orientation and it was with Megan. Now please keep in mind that in addition to not going to the gym (at least seriously) for so long, having a bad back and being extremely intimidated I wasn't to happy to see Megan at first. When we met and discussed my goals Megan mentioned a new group fitness training class that I may be interested in. After a little detail of what this involved – twice a week for an hour with a group of 6 people, max, I signed up. It was just after that when I noticed her awards and statue for body building that I realized I was DEAD!

In reporting for the first class (and feeling very scared) I met the only other person in our group, Maryanne, who obviously new her way around the gym, was younger than I and was in much better shape. The first thing that Megan had us do was push ups! I thought I would die and told her I hadn't done a push up since high school and even then they weren't great. At the end of this hour every inch of my body ached. I went home feeling very overwhelmed but determined to keep trying mostly because of the enthusiasm and support I felt even from that first session with Megan. At the second session I found myself apologizing to Maryanne as I felt I was holding her back. But somehow Megan was able to see the strengths and weaknesses in both of us and had us work accordingly.

Each week although I still hurt at times, I feel stronger and stronger and my back is feeling much better. Now I get excited about going to the class and have been going on my own in-between our appointments. I can't express enough how much better I feel and how grateful I am to Megan for her skill, patience and style of training. She truly makes you feel comfortable within yourself and confident that you are able to obtain your goals.

A few weeks ago Megan even took us to the next level of learning how to eat better and again this wasn't something I was looking forward to. The way Megan explains the importance of it all and how easy it can be once you make that commitment is amazing! I am to grateful for all that we have accomplished and can't wait to get into my skinny dress that I have bought to wear on my husband's 58 th birthday on June 29, 2008.

I would like people to know that although I will never (nor do I want to at my age) be really thin and muscular, with Megan you can get the training for whatever your personal goals are and you can achieve this without feeling intimidated in anyway.

I thank Megan so much and look forward to working with her for the next several weeks or more for whatever time will allow!
